Same here. Scary. How do you keep a diapered baby cool? Are you all heading for water?
It's impossible to work or even think.
The world is on fire.

Isn't it something? Check out my post, moved to write it when it was like that in Indiana yesterday.
Today it's still sky rocketing to the nineties with a ton of humidity. I have to admit I love, usually, bad weather. Severe storms, blizzards. When I visit the Pacific Northwest and everyone is bitching about the rain I feel like breaking down and tears and saying I FEEL LIKE I'M HOME.
But unless I'm swimming in Lake Michigan there's not a lot to like about feeling the world bake.
As litbyfire says, How do you keep a diapered baby cool? Exactly.

ugh. i am glad our heatwave is taking a break - it was 99F last friday, humidity higher than yours, and believe me, that sucks in this city. rain yesterday afternoon, cooler night, rain this morning, but now it is getting warmer and warmer again ... work is indeed no fun when it is like this - esp not in a room full of computers! and a/c is not standard here.

keep cool!

Air conditioning. Air condtioning & more air conditioning is the best way to keep a diapered baby cool. We've got four window units running almost constantly. I am NOT looking forward to our electric bill.

Stay cool, folks!

For once we down here in the desert Southwest cannot complain. And even when we do, the ol' addage is true: It's not the heat, it's the humidity....

i don't like a/c. i don't like the heat, but a/c makes me ill, and my eyes dry. nobody has it in their homes here, and it's not standard at work places. my husband has it at work, and got ill straight away.

anyway, your pic is gorgeous. makes me feel about 5F cooler ... :))

We had that warning this week too. I've been drinking alot of green iced tea, and my cat has been sleeping beneath the air conditioner.
