Green

I'm so jealous. A. D. ordered brand new books today. In this house we're under strict new budget rules and can only buy second hand books. Maybe I'll get lucky and find The Orchard the next time I go to the used book store. It happens. Last week I found Ithaca by Francisca Aguirre. The collection hadn't even been opened. I'm having a hard time believing that someone could part with it, most likely I'm deluding myself that it hadn't been read. I know this much I certainly won't be parting with Ithaca anytime soon. I've read it straight through three times already.

I have an extra copy of The Orchard. Email me your address, and I will mail it to you.

Haha. It's not that my unemployed self can warrant the expense, but that I have a book-buying addiction.

Rather self-destructive really. . .

Yippeee!! Thanks so much, C. Dale, you're the best. :-)

A.D., I know exactly where you're coming from, we're on the strict second hand book budget for a reason. ;-)

I checked. Yes, I do have an extra copy. I will mail it off to you tomorrow if I have time. If not, Saturday. I think you will enjoy it. It is a gorgeous book.
