What flavor is the baby? Strawberry, of course. I say this with a high degree of certainty, even though a voice is whispering in my ear: Apple, apple. If apple, I'd opt for granny smith. Delightfully tart and crisp, yet sweet.

Regarding your shoe photo, Suzanne, I must say it's a beaut. I know nothing about photography--and the proof is in the lousy photographs I take (grin)--but I must say this photograph is quite effective. I love how the bannister--is that a bannister?--bisects the photo on a diagnol. I also am quite enamored with the contrast of shadow and light--the tiny bits of light inside the shoes wreck me, dear. And I also love the contrast between the worn grayness of the bannister, assuming that it is a bannister and those shiny newness of the black shoes.

Is it a poem, or a photograph? For me, it's both. Thank you for sharing this lovely image, Suzanne.

Diagonal. Diagonal. Diagonal.

Sigh.

I swear, my spelling's gone to hell in a handbasket now that I work on a computer 40 hours a week, and write 99% of my poetry on a computer in my spare time.
Once upon a time, I was the queen of the spelling bee. No more, alas.

Diagonal. Diagonal. Diagonal.

*grin* I think faster than I type, or I type faster than I think--I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I am certainly not very accurate when I type, or is it when I think that I'm not accurate? Anyway, that's how I explain all my typos. ;-)

Laurel, I'm so glad you liked this photograph, thank you! xo
