Current Reading

Husband picked these up over the weekend:

Case Histories by Kate Atkinson -- beautifully written, zipped right through it.

Teacher Man, Frank McCourt--halfway through--painful, tear jerker.

re atkinson: enjoyed that one tremendously. she is a great storyteller. my first kate atkinson book was "behind the scenes at the museum" which was just wonderful. loved it from the first page to the last. will have to re-read some day. currently reading "red earth and pouring rain" by vikram chandra. and poetry! m

That's the first book I've read by Atkinson, but I will definitely read more of her work. I'll tell you this much--That McCourt is damn depressing! No more out of him. ;-)

Oh and poetry, yes, always poetry.
