The lilies on my porch in IL are far behind yours. And I thought I wouldn't see lilies this year, so thanks for sharing yours, S.

These are beautiful. I have 4 different lilies blooming now, but none is like these.

Yesterday, we went to a beautiful daylily garden and were inspired. Today, we're going to a farm to buy more plants.

Thanks for posting the lavender, also. I've been looking for a new variety--mine didn't come back very well.

Ah yes, I remember those....

There is in the wildlands west of here, Organ Pipe National Park and south into Mexico, a beautiful though rare lily: the Ajo lily: pale lavendar, ghostly in its presence among the red and red-brown rocks.

These photos make me yearn for that beauty, as well.

You're welcome and of course, it was my pleasure.

Simmons, Now I must get a glimpse of this spectral lily.

How gorgeous! I love that orange color-- it is one of my favorite summer colors.
