That last photo sort of looks like my back yard! I love it back there -- I go for walks every morning and pray for guidance! It is the most tranquil spot in the world for me.

Oh, I envy you Jenni! This is one of my favorite spots, but I have to drive and then walk about a mile to see it, how lovely to have it in your own backyard.

That looks lovely, Suzanne! Your terrain seems a lot like ours here in the Cuyahoga Valley.

Gorgeous!

The trees, too, are like fences, frames that help us see better or make us want to look closer at what's in between and imagine what's possibly obstructed. These photos bring so much to mind. I keep looking at them as completely three dimensional...like I can touch the trees. I'm reminded of something Basquiat said about why he crossed out some words in his paintings... because the viewer might want to read the word more if it's crossed out. I love that feeling here.

Thanks!

And Emmy, thank you your thoughtful response, I'm well, I'm delighted--and btw your current photos have me dreaming of white sand, I've always want to get out that way, but haven't had the chance. I love the Basquiat quote--it's so true, well it would be for me--*lol*
