I need your help..which shot should I use for my author photo?

Thanks, everyone. I'll go with 1 for the book and use 2 on my webpage -- that way I can get some of those letters C. promised.

I like them all but I vote for #3 because people seem to think it's against the law for a poet to smile and be happy and that's just silly. :) #1 is my second choice, because it's hard to see your face well in the more distant shot and I like to see faces.

Always go with the head shot.

Also, horny teenage boys will write you emails if you show your pretty legs....

Dang, I missed #3! I was just thinking: why is it that authors don't smile in their photos?! Well, I'll always have New York.... I think I vote #1 in this case in part because there's not a board running behind your head--although from a poetry perspective maybe there's something to that?
