Brooklyn

Yesterday was a gorgeous day to be in Brooklyn. 440 Gallery is nice space with a gracious crowd. I read from Lit Windowpane, American Flamingo, and a new poem I hadn't read out before. This was the first reading that I brought my family to, we're putting a new plan into action after deciding that tagging along to some of my upcoming readings would be a nice way for Emily & Jack to get some exposure to new places. It was exciting for them and went off better than I could have a imagined. My husband took them for pizza at Two Boots, and they played in the park. They really had a great time. The skyscrapers made a big impact.
