A Foot At Least

Went to the salon today and had my hair cut. It had gotten so long, too long. Somewhere in the vicinity of the middle of my back-- it was thick, shapeless, and the ends were crunchy. Now it's around my collar bone, bouncy, shiny, and it feels SO good. I'm going back next week for hi-lights & lo-lights. There will be no stopping me. [insert maniacal laugh]

Wow, Ms. Brave Thing. I cut several inches off mine last fall, but it's still a few inches past my bra strap. I could not be so bold. --I'll bet it feels wonderful. Nothing like getting rid of so much dead weight.

It feels like I lost ten pounds. I've made a girl scout's promise to keep it this length.

Here I am at my advanced age, growing my hair out. It isn't quite to my collarbone. I'm in don't-give-a-damn mode. Another few inches and I can put it up when I want to look respectable. But why would I want to look respectable?
Can we have a club?
