I like this especially the Carnegie--carne (flesh) idea. Keep going. You have inspired me to try it, too.

Oh yeah.

You have a sharp edge, girl. ;-)

14 Waves: crunchy, chewy words, very jewelled. Great closing lines! :-) BTW, is it okay if I refer by title?

Suzanne said...

Oh, sure, Ivy, refer away. Just trying to keep the place neat. ;-)

An amazing piece. The middle is so dead on.

Great poems today, and especially yesterday.

Nice...! What do you mean no.4? I'm still workin' on number three. :-)

No. 4 is my favorite - so far.

Crocus is so surprising, a continually regenerating surprise, especially towards the end there. :-)

Y'all are too kind. Thanks for the read.

I am amazed by these wonderful poem-a-day exercises. Ah, such energy!

That's all folks! Thanks, again.

Ivy said...

Yay, Suzanne! Well done! :-) Did you have fun?

Suzanne said...

Thanks, Ivy. I did have fun and then suddenly it wasn't fun, suddenly it felt more like a job so I stopped. I might continue in private though -- once this easter egg madness is finished that is. xo

I've participated in a poetry boot camp online. You write a poem a day for 6 days, get some critiquing and give some as well. Intense, but generative writing, and I came away with rough beginnings. Good for you Suzanne in the midst of egg madness!

Gee - I missed it.

Ha! You and everyone else Nick. I didn't post it. ;-)
